On Sun's wireless broadband

SMART has made too much money on my use of bluetooth internet. The data charges had already swamped my monthly call and text plan allocation. My phone bill has become prohibitively expensive. That's why I decided to get a wireless broadband plan, but not with SMART.

I applied on January 6. My application was approved on the 10th. It was activated after 10 hours. I was having trouble getting connected at first which prompted me to call customer service. I was asked to re-boot my laptop and check if the blinking light is blue. A blue light means a strong signal. After re-starting my laptop twice, I finally got connected. Yey!

I hope SUN's broadband wouldn't give me any problems. Let's wait and see.

For now, I can officially say good bye to SMART. No more data charges in thousands.

God bless, too.

SMART is just so spoiled that they charge anything they want. Glad to know that there are other better alternatives than the SMART-GLOBE monopolies :(

bw - i hope sun do expand their network. they offer a great value for money as compared with the other telcos.
