An alternative to Crocs?

I thought Crocs are the ugliest shoes in the world. But these are far worse. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing one. I'll end up looking like one of those aquatic human mutants from Waterworld.

Come to think of it I think I’ve said these same words before about Crocs. Now that I have a pair, I have to take back those unkind words about Crocs. It’s true that it's not the most aesthetically pleasing footwear in the world but it’s really a comfortable footwear especially for traipsing around the mall. It's skid-free and has a good traction as compared with regular flip-flops.

But would I wear Crocs or FiveFingers to work? Absolutely not. Crocs, flip-flops and the (hideous) FiveFingers don’t belong in the workplace unless HR allows you too.

I won't be caught dead wearing one of those FiveFingers. They're hideous. Why do they even call them FiveFingers anyway?? FiveToes would be more apt.

Yeah, I love my Crocs flip-flops, but would never wear them to an office - mine or otherwise.

LOL

back to the Web, this blogger.ΓΌ antagal kong di nakadalaw dito.

I saw many people wearing the Fivefingers in Paris. Wierd. Especially the ones which matches the skin tone of the wearer. what really made me think is that, is it warm enough to wear for streets? para kasing manipis.

Liquid Vitamins - Same here. It looks very unprofessional. The clunky type of footwear doesn't fit the workplace. Even if you're in advertising where anything goes, it's still a no-no, IMO.

Bro Utoy - Uso na pala yan dyan? The first time I laid eyes on FF, it reminded me of a shokoy's feet. Seriously. That's why I call this shokoy shoes.

Walking on Fivefingers in skin color through Paris... fashion or not, but thanks... who has the courage for that?
They might look unprofessional in a lot of places, except when your work is baywatching or surf instructor...

I must be one of the few who still hasn't gotten a pair of Crocs. FiveFingers? Hmmm, comfort is important.

I once had aching feet because of wearing high heel boots during a holiday in Shanghai (what was I thinking?). I am now imagining myself wearing FiveFingers while walking comfortably around town... sheesh, if only they didn't look so hideous!
